The all food was delicious! We got one of the family portions, which fed 3 and even allowed for leftovers. The staff were kind and attentive, answering the questions we had. All in all, we have been here previously and it does not disappoint, we will be coming again!
I don't live in Austin, I live in Killeen. In 2009, an Iranian American here in Killeen recommended me to this excellent Persian restaurant. Ever since then, every chance I'm in the Austin area, I do my best to have an enormous appetite and visit such a fine establishment. Yesterday, 6/27/2026, I paid a visit again. I was very disappointed with my experience. I ordered Kobideh with naan, expecting fresh tandoor bread, but was served cold, store-bought bread that tasted like something from Walmart. The Kobideh itself was not very good either. The restaurant was packed because of a soccer match, and only one employee was trying to serve everyone. He was doing his best, but the service suffered due to understaffing. Just great savory food from the Hummus to the Kabobs. There are two Persian Restaurants in town and the other one has a great atmosphere but this place has great food and service. We had already taken bites out of our food but talk about tender tasty meat and fresh rice.
I feel bad because it's run by nice people but really it's a difficult operation. Service is extremely slow. Food isn't that great and it is very expensive for what it is and even the location so far out. Wouldn't really recommend
