Chris built a nice deck for me three years ago and it’s holding up well. He also finished most of the basement and put in some built ins few years ago, and I hope he will take on a bathroom installation project this year. Not everything was perfect and it largely depends on subcontractor he uses, but overall all of the work is pretty solid and he definitely can be trusted. The deck was built by Chris directly and it is my favourite project so far.
Having our deck built by Shanahan Building and Remodeling was a wonderful experience for my wife and I. We had a big project and wanted to find a contractor we felt had our best interests in mind - Chris Shanahan was that guy. Chris and Shanahan Building and Remodeling was a true pleasure to work with. Chris provided an accurate estimate for finishing our basement and clear communication throughout the process. He also provided insight and suggestions to prevent us (first time remodeling clients) from making silly mistakes because we didn't know anything about construction. I cannot recommend Chris enough and we will be repeat customers for a new deck and porch trim in the near future.
