As a Rabbi, who has done unfortunately many funerals in the Philadelphia area, I have found the cemetery workers at shalom to be extremely friendly, patient, flexible, and respectful to the Jewish traditions. Special shout out to Sticks and Carlos.
Beautiful hilly grounds and lush greenery, situated near Roosevelt blvd and byberry road. Spacious grounds with well kept plots for our loved ones final resting place.
Professional staff. Very friendly and sincere staff. They went out of their way to fulfill our needs for my brother. Kyle spent hours deal with another state for retrieving my brother’s remains. Alyssa went over and beyond to assist us. We thank you all for making this very difficult time, a manageable and peaceful journey!
They are slow to put a date of death on the burial plaque on the ground. I am still waiting 8 months for my mother's 2024 plate to be mounted on her plaque. Staff working there have been giving me the run around.
The professionalism is outstanding I have comfort in knowing that's where my loved ones' resting place is there. Thank you so much for Forest Hills Cemetery for everything you have done in the past and everything that you continue to do for my family.
