This is a great location and we loved the neighbors. Awesome if you have a dog! Management is awful with communication. One person tells you one thing while another tells you something different. Maintence never knows what’s going on and you have to hound management, and the owners incessantly to get anything done. Forget it ever being in a timely manner. The area and neighbors made up for the years of poor management.

I lived at Shalimar a few years ago. My bedrooms backed to 20th street. The noise was horrible from cars waiting at the red light and the loud music they were playing I couldn't sleep in either of the bedrooms. Renting a two bedroom apt I ended up having to sleep in the living room due to the traffic noise. In summer this apartment faced the west and the sun beating on the block front the apartment was roasting. Next door neighbors sneezing could be heard through the thin walls.
