Communicated with Dr. Gupta on our differences and resolved our issues. Dr. Gupta is a good Doctor. She has been my Primary Care for 15 plus years. I understand her. And appreciate her listening to me as I listened to her.
Dr. Gupta is one of the best internists I have had. She listens to my concerns really well and always spends the appropriate amount of time with me. If I simply need a lab ordered, I am not waiting around, but if it's a more complex issue, she takes the time to discuss it. I particularly appreciate that she knows the specialists in the area and will give recommendations for which places will provide better care. A shout-out to the assistants too!
My 84 year old grandmother had been a patient of doctor Gupta Shakunmala and was having some issues filling a prescription. My grandmother was obviously confused when calling and doctor Gupta was extremely rude and short over the phone, saying “ Well that’s her problem” and acting as if it was a bother to answer my questions. After some back and forth she tells me there is an over the counter medicine I could pick up in replacement of the prescription she couldn’t fill. Great doctor, she is very patient and attentive to my needs. Dr. Gupta is very caring, and always taking time to address the needs of her patients. She has help me in many ways, that’s life changing.
Gupta is very rude and not accommodating. As a patient she wouldn’t fulfill a prescription I needed and asked why not was very rude and implied asking for the medicine I needed filled was drug related. Very unprofessional and never returned.
