This past Friday an abcessed tooth got so bad I ended up in the ER for antibiotics. Monday I called to find a dentist in network with my insurance. Im incredibly grateful I called Shakespear Family Dentistry. They offered an appointment Tuesday morning! They did a limited exam, single xray, presented options and removed the offending tooth, all in under 40 minutes. The dentist and assistant were gentle, kind, and patient. The staff was friendly and helpful! The Dr was kind and the procedure was painless! I would Highly Recommend Shakespear Family DDS!
I haven't been here in a while but when I did have an appointment they had to pull a tooth and I was in a lot of pain afterwards and they were very kind and took care of me. I really appreciated it.
I have an unfortunate genetic tendency to dental problems - no matter how I take care of my teeth, I end up back at the dentist every so often. Since moving to Astoria, I’ve come to this place for cleanings, exams, fillings and other procedures, and have never had a problem. The office staff is competent and courteous, Dr. Shakespear explains options and procedures well, despite being soft spoken and clearly very busy, and overall the experience is as pleasant as dental work can be.
