Good cake, horrible service I went there for a wedding cake consultation, we sampled some decent cake. However, no one ever returned for 15 mins. I even cleaned up our plates!!! I was never given a flyer, no policies were explained, no pictures were shown. The lady only came out when she saw my mom and I looking at the display cakes. When asked about price, we had a calcuator shoved in our face reading $685. I have never been treated so poorly!! I was treated like a bum wanting repeated free cake. Amazing decorated cakes! I had Shaker Baker make a parrot-shaped carrot cake for a Jimmy Buffet concert. They were the only bakery in town that would do this for me. The caked looked AMAZING and was absolutely delicious. I was also extremely impressed with the customer service I received. I feel the price was very reasonable for my request. I highly recommend Shaker Baker for all your bakery needs!!!
Holy Carrot Cake! I have never tasted a carrot cake as moist as this one. I drive past a total of 5 bakeries and hike it all the way across town to get it. Everyone should try it, my family has been going there for years!
Yummy Bakery!! This is by far the best bakery that I have been to in Milwaukee. The pastries, cakes and puffs are delicious. Quality is excellent. I got great customer service at the bakery. The birthday and wedding cakes have incredible design. My personal favorites include: Brownies. lemon tarts, birthday cakes and the Indian Puffs. The prices of the items are also very reasonable. Great cakes, good service Absolutely the best cakes i've tasted at any bakery. They have very good customer service, pastry chefs are very attentive to customer needs, make every attempt to do what i've asked for before saying not possible.
Great Bakery, but high priced I have gone to Shaker Baker for both thier bakery and thier deli. My husband and I also looked into them for our wedding cake, but they were pretty pricey compared to other local bakers. I really like thier bakery, but thier deli isn't that great at all.
Burgandy? – We had a their cake for our wedding This cake tasted fabulous! The best cake I've ever had. Only problem, we had a burgandy wedding and requested burgandy flowers on the cake. They came out a more purply color. Not the end of the world. It looked beautiful...just the color was off. Tasted great though!
