Love Shaker Heights Animal Hospital. I'm a doting paranoid fur mamma who runs up there every time Miss Effie has a problem. They've been very patient with me. � And Effie loves the vets and the techs!
I've taken my two dogs and cat here for many years and when Dr. Prueter retired I stayed with Shaker Heights Animal Hospital. Recently I had to make the difficult decision to have my 17 year old toy poodle euthanized. I am so grateful and comforted by the professional and compassionate care provided by Dr. Walsh and his staff during this difficult time for me and my family.

Been going there for years; initially with our mastiffs, and now with our current English and French bulldogs. The whole crew is awesome! You’d be silly to go anywhere else for your pet’s care.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Shaker Animal Hospital and Dr. Welsh! I’m so happy he took over the practice. He did an amazing job catching our cat’s hyperthyroidism when another vet missed it. I really thought my cat was going to die, but she is doing great now. I have found his diagnoses to be spot on and have been impressed by the quality of care. Would highly recommend!
I have been taking my kitties to the clinic for years and we loved Dr. Preuter until he retired. Dr. Welsh and his staff have done a wonderful job continuing to provide the best care for pets in this locally owned and operated animal hospital. We are lucky to have Dr. Welsh, his staff, and this clinic in Shaker!
