Who decided buns were mandatory? I spent my whole life assuming if you wanted a burger or a chicken sandwich, the bread was simply the price of admission. Then Shake Shack Forest Hills came along with crisp lettuce wraps for both, and I realized I had been living under the tyranny of buns. Today, I stand a freer American. The burger is still juicy. The chicken is still glorious. The lettuce is crisp enough to carry the promise that liberty sometimes arrives one leaf at a time.
Disappointed in the lack of supervision to ensure employees are being sanitary. It wasn't even busy and the guy at the fry station has gloves covered in dried crumbs + oil. Then he touches some surfaces, then starts unfolding and making empty boxes for fries with the same dirty gloves. Went to pick up my order at the pick up counter and the woman with a mask gave me attitude when I asked if my food was ready. For the price Im paying for my food I atleast expect respect. First and last time coming
The staff member at the front (wearing a headband) was quite unfriendly. When I asked her to check on my order, which was already sitting on the shelf next to her, she did not respond or assist me. I eventually had to ask the manager for help to receive my food while he was already assisting another customer. The overall service felt dismissive and unhelpful.
