Friendly Atmosphere The review by anonymous is ridiculous. They basically said that the friendly staff was too friendly (talking about daily life and such) and that the dentist wasn't helpful because he didn't tell his patients that flossing and regular checkups are a good idea. Sorry, Anon, don't know where you were raised, but daily dental care is just common sense! I found Dr. Patel because I purchased a dental discount card. I switched Cons: 1. Unprofessional. The entire time when I was getting my cavity filled, the dental assistant was chatting away with the dentist about their friends, last night's reality TV show etc... Very unprofessional. 2. Pricey. Although we only went to see him twice, and with insurance, we paid over $300 out of pocket. 3. Extra charges. Eventually, we decided to switch dentist and asked the office to transfer our files to the new dental office. They asked us to pay a $20 fee to do so. I have never heard of a charge to ... read more
patel shailesh dds I have found this office to be pretty helpful. My kids don't find it too painful to go here for checkups. The staff is very professional, understanding, and it is usualy easy to make an appointment when you need to. They are also very nice about scheduling emergency appointments as I have often needed. They have also recomended some great orthodontists for my kids. I find it helpful that they send me postcards reminding me when it is time for my next cleaning or check up as I am very busy and its hard to k... read more
Great practice The business is conveniently located on Weston Parkway, off I-40, with no traffic problems. It's in a one-story office complex that you might miss because there are trees and not a big sign. The office is equipped with the latest high tech equipment and staff is very courteous and professional.
