We waited over 6 months for my husband to have his appointment with a gastroenterologist to help address his pancreatitis. He ended up seeing Dr. Aziz who must have just recently moved to Michigan because finding records of him practicing was difficult. Dr. Aziz was very quick to accuse my husband of binge drinking and completely dismissed his concerns and questions about the pancreatitis episodes. It was a very unhelpful and upsetting visit to wait so long for and probably soon be billed a ridiculous amount.
So I was referred back in September 2024, had MRI's done for a mass on my liver. They never saw me in person, it was all over the phone but even then the call was 5 minutes and my questions were NOT answered and I was just told 'We'll do another MRI in a few months'. Second MRI happened and my mass has grown, appointment was made to be seen in office to discuss the growth rate. That in person visit NEVER happened because he suddenly retired? But I was never told anything until i saw my PCP randomly and mentioned I can't get ... read more
He is unprofessional and has horrible bedside manners. He doesn’t seem like he is listening and acts like he has much more important things to attend to. Never coming back!
I go to my appointment that is scheduled for 2:00pm and arrive at 1:50pm. There is a group of 3 ladies in front of me and they tell the receptionist that they are early for their 2:30pm appointment with Dr. Aziz (my doctor). No big deal. They get their paperwork to fill out and go sit down. I tell the receptionist I'm here for my 2:00 appointment. They call me back at 2:10 and put me in a room. At 2:25pm I'm getting agitated. I open the door at 2:30 to see if anyone is out there so I can ask how much longer it will be. No on... read more
"My visit never happened. My PCP referred me to this doctor and we set up an appointment. The appointment was set approximately 3 weeks prior to the date to be seen. I received a call from his office two days prior to confirm the appointment. I then received a call 1 1/2 hours prior to my scheduled appointment time and was told this doctor doesn’t work with my condition. If he and his office can’t manage the proper handling of me as a new patient, I certainly wouldn’t want him performing any procedure on me. Lack of training... read more
Extremely rude dr. He will not let you speak and he talks over you. I had to reschedule my apt withDr.Aziz. I called janelle, the lady that does scheduling many times and left messages with her that I needed to reschedule as I did not have a driver as per their requirement. She never called me back. I was concerned that they didn’t get my message so I called the hospital to make sure they new that I would not be coming. I spent more than 4 weeks leaving messages with janelle again to call me to reschedule. Finally I received... read more
Dr. Aziz is very impatient. He does not seem to have compassion in treating patient. We understand his time is valuable and so is our time. We came to see him, waited for him. He would not come right away to see us, of course that is understandable because he is treating other patients. But when he came to see us, he seemed so rush. And when we asked questions, his response is " You have asked many questions, some of them are good, but many of them are silly" Dear Dr. Aziz, if I have known the answers to my questions, I woul... read more
Perfectly professional. Expert in his field. Doesn’t allow children in the patient rooms, which is totally understandable given the seriousness of disease that he treats. I was reluctant to follow through with my appointment after reading some of the reviews, but those absolutely did not match my experience at all. I have complete confidence in him and highly recommend Dr. Aziz.
The PA and other staff members in this office are friendly, professional, and informative. Dr Aziz, however, is the most condescending, abrupt, and rudest doctor I have encountered in 70 years. He becomes angry if you ask a question, even to ensure that you understand you clearly understood what he said. (His response to me was, “I already told you.”) He may be knowledgeable, but run away as fast as you can unless you do not want a doctor who cares about you and is informative, patient, and kind. I left his office and went s... read more
