??Wonderful Doctor & Staff ??????
I just moved to this area and was referred to Dr. Yonan I waited 2 hours in the waiting room and 1 hour in a room. This Doctors refused to help me the minute I told him I did not have insurance. I am currently on pain medication and asked for his help he stated He didn't know how things were done in the south (I lived by Columbus Oh) but it wasn't the same here?????My Husband just passed and the Doctor had the nerve to ask I'd he took pain medication. I was discriminated against!
He doesn't spend much time to listen ,he is in and out. I've been a patient since 2012 and with chronic back pain . There's time he ask what is wrong and forgets what hes treating and says I won't get any better with pain,but wants to cut back on meds rather than try an alternative course of care. Not very sympathetic.
I was referred to Dr. Yonan for pain management after weeks of PT for sciatic pain did little to ease the pain. Finally, a doctor who used models and drew pictures to thoroughly explain the reason for my pain! Dr. Yonan administered two shots in my back and suggested a regimen of exercise to strengthen my core . Prior to seeing him, an hour in the car was agonizing, but following his recommendations, I was able to take a 1600 mile road trip pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Yonan.
I have been seeing Dr. Shah since 2002 for chronic back and neck pain due to an auto accident. I highly recommend him. He and his staff are very professional but still friendly. They listen to you and give answers that you can understand.
I was appalled at the way that I was treated by this man, not doctor, man. The condition that I have is very rare. He said he had never heard of it. After telling my neurologist about this he said that all doctors have a certain book that they generally keep handy which they can use to look up any and all conditions. He never even bothered, he could have even just googled it. He would ask me questions then cut me off in the middle of answers. I would not recommend him even to treat a dog.
he works with you on whatever needs to be done, he Listens to you, and he really cares,not just a in and out things, he talks to you as a person a friend, i would recommend him to my family and friends
He spends time with you and likes if the spouse or a family member comes in. He looks into options that are best for you other than medication. From experience medication is not the answer for pain when there is other options. He helped get that option and it's going well. He's caring.
I been a Patient of Dr. Yonan since April of 2012. I have suffered with chronic lower back pain since 1997, and have been on a regimen of pain medications since 2005. This allows me the ability to live a some what normal life. Dr. Yonan and his staff have helped me out immensely over the past 5 years.
