RecommendedShaggy Jacks is absolutely the best place to eat and chill. When you arrive, they take your name down. While you wait, you can sit outside and have a drink. The food is amazing, the music is awesome, the atmosphere is absolutely fantastic, and they have the best Long Island Ice Tea! They also have an open bar and the service is great! I highly recommend this place.
Dinner was amazing! Our waitress Sadie was SUPERB! Will definitely be back when in town..praying Sadie is still there 😍
The food was amazing! Loved the fried green tomatoes. The oyster platter was the best! They said the wait would be an hour, but we were in less than 30 minutes. They have an outdoor bar and a nice waiting area.
Awesome little spot!! The wait was long but, so worth it!!!
Shout out to the owner Blake for seeing my elderly dad and getting us inside at a table where the AC was running cool. That was real nice of Blake to do that. Also our server Rhonda worked her tail off and was a great server. Thanks a lot to Shagger Jacks.

Sadie is an AWESOME waitress.. the Very Best Ever... Ask for her... good ribeye sandwich and ooooh the Gooda potatoes 🥔 as Sadie recommended to us. Good crab cake sandwich. Waaaaay too loud inside, but great outside.. Thank You.. .. we will return on our next trip..

We went last 6/27 for our last night in Oak Island. We visited the previous summer and had seen all the people and the atmosphere looked so fun! So we went during the week around 530 and didn’t have to wait. I was a little disappointed. The outside look so fun and vibrant with the decor and tiki bar.
