I chose to practice family medicine, because I wanted to care for patients on the front lines of medicine. I have the opportunity to team up with people of all ages, interests, and backgrounds, managing their chronic diseases; providing up-to-date, evidence-based care; and encouraging healthy living and preventive practices. I believe that is the best medical care, when BOTH the patient and the provider understand each other and work together to stay healthy.

Follow up visit all went well.
We had a very good experience. Dr. Johnson was very thorough and cordial.
Dr. Johnson is my husbands primary care doctor. I have been with my husband several times. He asked questions to understand my current health needs. Dr. Johnson preformed a careful exam. He was reassuring. Additionally he took time to go over current Covid guidelines as well as best practices. I appreciated him.

I’ve been to Dr Johnson three times after my doctor for the last 3 years moved. I now understand why I’m on the meds I have and my blood pressure is getting better. I highly recommend him and his staff.
Upon finding out that i had a history of alcohol abuse (which i had to bring up...despite him having received my history) his whole demeanor changed and he pretty much seemed to write me off. I explained my history of depression and how i had not started drinking until my thirties and lost my house, got a divorce etc. I explained my depression was not under control...he told me that he would not help me with depression until i quit drinking.
