I have lived here for over 10 years, I understand just like buying a house anywhere else that it is my responsibility to keep up on it
I live in this community, and the property managers and staff are greedy and mean. DO NOT MOVE HERE! Holiday City Mobile Home Community is not a a good place to live, is not peaceful and clean, and you will not get your money's worth! YOU WILL GET FLIES, MOSQUITOS, MITES, BITING ANTS, BEES, STRAY CATS IN DROVES, MUD, OVERFLOWING TRASHCANS, POOR-AT-BEST LAWN MAINTENANCE, NO OTHER MAINTENANCE WORTH HAVING, and A MANAGEMENT TEAM THAT IS CHEAP, INCOMPETENT, AND RIG EVERYTHING!
I have lived in Linden Place for years and absolutely love my house. However, I have never felt so unwelcome by management anywhere in my life as I have felt over these past 2 years here at this DRS owned property. I now want to move out, but I am stuck here for now with no recourse - other than this review. Buyer beware!! I have lived here less than a week , literally still unpacking and today I find a ticket on my car from the " Holiday city community tow truck guy that they hire" the ticket on my windshield said I had expired tags. I do not have expired tags they are good, so I went down to the office to report to them that their " community hired tow truck guy had made a mistake , they argued with me even though I had the documents provided showing that my car was completely legal and wete very rude. I live in Shadylane for 11 yrs. now. The city just totally replaced Warner Ave. We had to park elsewhere (I live right on Warner) I was glad that the street was fixed but the first night I parked on Warner (after construction was complete) someone broke my Driverside rear window. (probably kids) but I parked on an empty lot (concrete) the next night! (as I did when warner was being fixed). I have lived in this trailer park for almost 2 years and I definitely would recommend moving here. The people are friendly as well as the rental office and the maintanance people too. The trailer park is very close to good school and walking distance to shopping centers and parks. If your looking for a good environment with friendly neighbors than this is the place to be. The above comment was very unfair. Sharon tries her best to do what is right in the Shady Lane community. Her efforts are sometimes disallowed by the parks owner. I have lived here for 12 years and the community is finally peaceful due to Sharon's involvement as manager. Good job Sharon!
This place is amazing. The owners of this establishment were "very" nice and friendly, always happy to help people their extended "family"(renters and home owners). They were always in the office when you needed them unlike other places we were looking at. Their homes were "Very" nice and clean, also located close to base/town. i would highly recomnd this establishent to anyone looking for a place to stay.
