This is a fabulous place to have an event. Have come to Shady Wagon for a few years and am always more than satisfied with the service, atmosphere, etc.
Just had my second event at the farm. The first one was a corporate-sponsored new car preview for Lexus. The second one was a surprise birthday party for a friend. Both times the hosts were very gracious and accommodating. A beautiful setting for no matter what type of event you have in mind.
Very nice venue ran by even better people. Ms Cindy and her family will ensure you have a good experience.
Everything was just as I had imagined it! The venue in beautiful, the family that runs it is so great, you couldn't ask for anything better!

I've been officiating weddings here since they opened. Cindy has made this beautiful farm into a showplace and a wonderful wedding venue. It is friendly and laid back and inviting. And New Hill is just a hop,skip and jump from Raleigh down Route 1. There is a double-sided cottage for the wedding party to get ready and hang out in before the ceremony.
