RecommendedWonderful clinic! And the staff is fantastic. They really came through for us and can't wait to get the rest of the animals there for their visits.
They are compassionate, friendly, and personable. we recently had to have them help my Maine coon across the rainbow bridge. we were allowed to be with him to the end. Not like a couple of other places that just took a beloved pet in the back and then brought them back to you when the pet was gone.
They always treat my Bozo like a king instead of the clown he is.
Dr. Vance and her staff have cared for our dog, Dixie, for 3 years. When my husband found a stray dog, obviously neglected and malnourished, she saw the dog the same day, gave him a thorough check up and made sure he had the medications he needed! So thankful for this team!
they helped me treat a sweet boy that was abandoned that I found on my hike. I promise, you helped him find a good home. no questions asked, they went above and beyond.

We finally found a vet office we can love! After moving to Ocala 4 years ago, and trying numerous vets whose mindset is just an endless customer-mill, with long, inconsiderate lines in the less-than-calm waiting room, and a goal of generating the most income, versus the pet's actual well-being, Shady Road was a refreshing experience! we just moved here in august and took our kitty cat to dr. vance for a check of his heart (he has a murmur) and a nail trim. she and her staff were super friendly and so good with my kitty. coming from up north where it seems everything is more expensive, we were pleasantly surprised at the bill too! would definitely recommend dr. vance.
