I really like my apartment a lot, the quietness, and I can’t wait to get home at the end of the day! I have had a great experience with Kaley, who works in the leasing office and she made sure she returned calls, answered questions and assisted me in every way. Thank you Kaley!!!!
Old roofing, almost 40 year roofs. Will raise rent each year with no amenities the tennis court is an eyesore alongside the gym which closes at 6 and not open on Sunday! PICK ANOTHER LOCATION WHERE YOU WILL BE TREATED LIKE A HUMAN!!
I have yet to understand the consistently poor ratings, all which seem to correlate with personal financial struggles of the tenants and not with Shady Lakes. When moving in somewhere, especially through management companies (opposed to single landlords), you must consider any security deposit gone. Shady Lake Apartments are the most heartless people. My daughter and her roommate have being leasing for over two years with rent payments on time and no trouble. Unfortunately my daughter’s roommate had a stroke at 25 that lead her into a coma for over two months and as she is recovering she requires 24 hour care at a facility. They have 6 months on her lease and will not allow my daughter out of the lease although the circumstances have left her in hardship . Think twice before filling out an application for this place. Charged us $350.00 application fee, which they promptly took out of my checking account, with $299.00 to be refunded if we didn't get the apartment. Catch is you don't get your $299.00 back for 4-5 weeks later, and they mail you a check, still waiting on mine. Seems a little Shady to me, that they get to use my money for weeks!
