I found Shadows and Shears via Instagram. Due to travel constraints, there wasn’t a makeup trial and my wedding was about a month away. Looking back, I’m glad we didn’t have a trial as I loved the big reveal. From the consultation to the big day, I felt cared for and impeccable customer service. Oh my gosh... I can not say enough how wonderful this experience was. I used Domanique for hair and makeup for a formal event. She was easy to work with and communicated with me consistently throughout the process. She is exceptionally talented and emphasized all of my natural qualities without going overboard. Dominque is the best! She did the makeup for me and my fiance and we’ve never felt more beautiful. She was so professional and personable. It was hard finding someone to do the makeup for our wedding especially when you live out of state. So many makeup artist didn’t respond but I lucked out when I found her! My fiance doesn’t wear makeup and wanted to look like herself and she delivered! If I ever have an event in SC she’s the only one I’d trust.

Domanique & her team were absolutely incredible. Professional, efficient & most importantly - TALENTED. I wanted a soft glam look for my make up (outdoor wedding) and a chic bun. They nailed it!
