I have lived here for 8 years, and I love it here. Of course, with any apartments you're going to have some issues. For example, the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors, and you will be able to hear the people above you. However, the management does address it if it becomes unbearable. Horrible Horrible. The maintenance was bad, and the office staff was very unpleasant. They treat you so well before you sign the paper work and then they could care less. We had monthly rent taken out of our accounts directly and they messed up one month after we had been there a year and forgot to take it out somehow. The next day they called us and said "We have not received your payment and you have three days to be out"! They didn't ask us "whats going on" or ask us for the rent. Nice Apartments / Nice Price / Nice Amenities Nice place all around. Everything you want and need....Huge apartments without paying a huge price. Our kids loved it here too. They have a pool, playground, basketball court, sand volleyball, tennis court...I can keep going. We love it here!
Shadow Ridge Apartments This is a very depressing apartment complex in La Vista. I lived recently lived there for a year, and was quite discouraged by the police cars pulling through the complex at all hours to arrest someone or the other. This is not an exaggeration. The apartment was good sized for a single person, with a small patio, but maintenance left something to be desired - it took months to get a running toilet fixed. my friend lives there and she was informed her teenagers have to be watched at the playground and basketball court. like really, when can they go to play without an adult?
If you are willing to get out and about the grounds, I have only said "hello" to a couple of trolls that either didn't want to be bothered or thought I might have ulterior motives. That is one of the reasons I bring my four-legged ankle-biter with me. LOL. The residents and management/maintenance crew are very friendly and helpful. I know them and they know me by my first name! Always willing to say hi & lend an ear or helping hand.

Dog owners do not clean up after the dogs poop. Parking is always an issue because they do not enforce the parking rules-everyone parks anywhere. The hallways have never been cleaned.
