Good Location, Poor Everything Else Let me first say that I rarely review anything, but I felt that this community warranted a truthful and current review so others will not fall into the same predicament that I am in. Shadow Lake is in an absolutely great location - it's close to major roadways, many great restaurants, and lots of activities. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DO NOT MOVE HERE. Two shootings have occurred since I moved out here. They have both happened in the last two months. The last one which occurred yesterday was fatal. This is not an safe environment at all. The apartments are really old an outdated. Something is constantly always going out or messing up. BUGS BUGS BUGS. They are everywhere. WARNING: Don't Live Here The girls in the Admin office are malicious, at time of Rental PLEASE, request copies of ALL documents that you sign, otherwise you'll be hosed and pursued if you are to Vacate the Rental in the future. Also, Expect your Monthly rents sent to you in the Mail to regularly Increase from the Contracted price you signed for originally. Can you imagine having to pay Shadow Lakes for 60 days after you move out? If so, move-in to Shadow Lake, your Dream will come true.

What we like to call home We have lived here at Shadow Lake for 2 years, we are starting our 3rd year here. The management team treats everyone here like family, every need you have they are here, any concerns they are here. We wanted to live close to the city without the frustrations of traffic, but not too far out. Shadow Lake is perfect for this. You are within minutes from just about anything you need. Apt 4 upstairs An awesome apartment ! I have a one bedroom apartment . The rooms in my apartment are great in size ,love the big closet in the bedroom ,my kitchen has the best appliances and my patio has a nice storage area.The ceiling fans make my rooms so comfortable.Pet friendly affordable !

Good Value for the Price One of the cheapest complexes in the area. They change up their leasing deals monthly, so check ahead. We had some lease issues when we renewed after a year, but the leasing office was very apologetic and helpful. Pretty private compared to most apartments - there's only one other apartment that shares a front door walkway with you, so it's really quiet. The "gym" is lackluster at best, but that's not really an issue for us. We've lived here over a year and have had zero problems with any of our neig... read more
