We are so pleased with the work that Shades of Green performed. They removed two very large Spruce trees in the front of our property and a large Cedar tree and Holly bush on the side of our house. We had a great experience, starting with Tom Robbins, their Certified Arborist. Tom initially came out to look at our property and made suggestions and gave us options. He is very knowledgable. Excellent, professional service. I had a dangerous tree that needed immediate attention after a storm. Shades of Green were super-responsive. I called in the early afternoon, Mike came out within the hour to quote, and their very professional crew with lots of sophisticated equipment were here within two hours and swiftly solved my tree problem. I had 4 trees removed by Shades Of Green. The crew showed up before 7AM and starts planning their approach. Once plan had been laid out, the execution was so calculated and with accuracy. They maneuvered their crane right next to my garage as a staging place. Trimmed the 3 big trees right next to my garage with accuracy making sure that the hanging removed tree was safely transported above my garage and house safely to the ground. We were one of Mike’s first customers 30 years ago when he was still in college, and have used him several times over the years as he built his successful business. Shades of Green removed 2 ancient Beech trees and re-landscaped the entire area recently and did an amazing job as described. They have all the equipment and experience that could ever be needed, and Mike is really a pleasure to deal with.

Great communication. Fran was quick to follow up on scheduling and made sure we got snow-free dry wood... and the firewood is perfect. Length and diameter and really clear to split it some more for kindling...great job!
