Heather and Victoria from Shade & Strand were absolutely amazing to work with! They made my special day so memorable for not only me, but my bridesmaids and family members as well. I felt the most beautiful I’ve ever been, and they made me feel super comfortable. They’re both so fun and have great energy! I’ll be recommending them to all my friends who are getting married in the future. Loved them!
My husband & I came to downtown San Diego for a wedding. I wanted to have my hair done for the wedding and I found Heather from Shade and Strand while doing a Yelp search. Heather communicated well with me from the start. On the day of the wedding (which was on a Friday) we had a 12:30 appt. The wedding ceremony was scheduled for 3:30pm. Heather has such a lovely team and the most bubbly personality that gets you excited for your wedding and just overall in the best mood!! Her team is so fun to talk to and I felt so absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. My mom, sister, and I got our hair & makeup done. We all felt stunning, and she brought our visions to life! Heather and Tiffany helped me feel extremely at ease during my initial bridal trial, and I could tell instantly that I was working with the highest-quality hair and makeup artists San Diego has to offer. Cynthia and Kelly did such an amazing job! I can not say enough great things. Myself and my bridesmaids all wanted more natural makeup and everyone’s turned out fabulous! Hair was also amazing. They came prepared, we didn’t have to do anything and their chill but fun energy totally matched ours! Absolutely recommend!!
