Highly highly recommend Shade and Strand for your wedding hair and makeup!! Heather and Cynthia were absolutely phenomenal. They tailored each look for each member of my bridal party and made everyone look absolutely stunning. Heather had incredible communication from the start and made the entire process stress free. I have never felt more beautiful than my wedding day and could not recommend these ladies enough!
I was recommended Shade and Strand by my coordinator, and I am so happy I went with them! Not only did they have affordable prices, but they provided such great services. Heather’s makeup and hairstyling services were lovely! She is easy to communicate with, is very professional with her set-up and demeanor, and of course, has the talent to enhance your beauty! She came to my parents’ house and helped me and my mom get ready for my cousin’s wedding. My husband & I came to downtown San Diego for a wedding. I wanted to have my hair done for the wedding and I found Heather from Shade and Strand while doing a Yelp search. Heather communicated well with me from the start. On the day of the wedding (which was on a Friday) we had a 12:30 appt. The wedding ceremony was scheduled for 3:30pm. Heather the owner is amazing!!! Her girls Kelly & Victoria were the best! I love those ladies, they made me feel amazing after their were done. I have never had my make up done and Victoria made me feel so comfortable during the process. I blink anytime something comes near my eyes but Victoria did not complain once. I have a ton of hair but Kelly loved every minute of it, she did not complain once about how much hair I have. If I need my hair or make up done again I would be calling them again in a heart beat!
