Great place
Spent 3 days at The Shack during a Christian marriage conference in October. We had the entire grounds to ourselves due to the size of the conference. Everything from staff, food, atmosphere was a 10 of 10! What a beautiful place, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of big cities. If you or your organization is looking for a place to hold an event, put the Shack at the top of the list to visit for your needs.
A great place for couples and grown-ups (but not for children - no playground). To all you one- and two-star complainers, no resort or hotel is super perfect like you guys are supposedly entitled too 🤮 These folks are doing their best. It's a lot of upkeep and with the way millennials and Gen Z'ers are LAZY "like you've never seen, not even close," you gotta give room for those who are overworked who are doing their best loved the lake, the fresh atmosphere, rustic log theme, good mashed potatoes and chicken gravy, noodles... read more
