I cannot recommend Dr. Ali. My first appointment was very upsetting and left me in tears. Despite being a new patient, I waited over an hour to be seen, and when Dr. Ali finally came in, she spent barely 10 minutes with me. She didn’t ask about my medical history and barely let me speak. I left in tears as well. She has diagnosed me with inflammatory RA, however did not address some of my concerns associated with disease nor did she consider my medical history. When I mentioned the tingling in arms/hands and widespread pain her response was see your neurologist, and/or spine doctor, these symptoms can clearly be from RA when I researched disease I felt very rushed and no compassion what so ever for the pain I was experiencing nor my overall well being. It was my first appointment with Dr. Shabnam, and I felt I was in excellent hands. She patiently listened to me, asked specific questions and explained that she needed test results before diagnosing. This is the way it should be. Her office staff was friendly and efficient. It was a very good experience and I look forward to her treatment plan. I highly recommend Dr. Shabnam.

I was in shock with how extremely mean, rude and unprofessional Dr. Ali was. She should be ashamed of herself. Will never be going back. Don’t waste your time go to another rheumatologist. Arthritis and rheumatism associates is a better practice to manage your rheumatic diseases. The doctors actually care about their patients and will give you exceptional care.

If I could give zero stars to this doctor I would. She was extremely insensitive and dismissive of all of my concerns despite my medical history and alarming symptoms. She claimed I was "normal" just by looking at me. And when I became overwhelmed due to the amount of stress that the visit was causing me I began to cry and she told me I was crying because I was "depressed" and asked me if I had thoughts of harming myself.
