This company does not pay their bills. They hire service electricians and plumbers and do not pay their bill. ONE YEAR CHASING AFTER THEM!!!!!!!!!! THEY BLOCK CALLS AND NEVER ANSWER! DO NOT PERFORM SERVICE FOR THEM!!!!!!
I have had a great experience. Moved to Brooklyn from Minnesota and they were able to arrange everything in advance. Hanna was especially very helpful.
SGW Properties will not return your security deposit. I've been trying for two years to get it back. They screen their calls and simply won't answer.
They didn't give us a signed copy of the lease. My roommate and I both called regularly to get one, but they never called us back. We've sent a letter with intent to move out well over 90 days before the end of lease, but they've been dodging us for the past 3 months when we called to get in touch about security deposit. I 100% agree with the other 1-star reviews; the 5-star ones are obviously fake (same content/format, only 1 review written by the account)
SGW Properties has been very helpful throughout my tenancy. Juan was always there to handle my repairs and the phone line is always cared for. They are as good as any in middle and northern Brooklyn.
