The nurse Stephanie Is so rude. I was Told tonight by her that she didn’t care about my son being sick. Because It’s other kids that are sick too. She stated that they are ready to go home. We arrived to youth care @6:45pm. They closed at 6pm. They didn’t have a sign on the door saying that they was closing early. They are usually open until 8pm. Our 3 year old daughter had a bad cough on our way to Disney World, so we stopped here around 4:30 to get her checked out. It's been three hours and the nurse practitioner just saw her. They gave us a few prescriptions, so they met that definition of a medical facility, but nothing about this experience was "urgent". Maybe this is a slow southern thing, but I would never come here again by choice. Now I'm just hoping we get to Orlando by midnight.
Arrived at SGMC Youth Care at 3:45pm, still not seen or even checked on at 06:30pm. Youth care closes at 4:30pm on Sundays. Disappointed in service all the way around.
Took my 11 month old daughter on Sunday at 9:30 right when they opened. They let me in a few minutes early, after paperwork we went back in less than five minutes. All of the nurses were super helpful and kind to my obviously unhappy baby. Taylor and I cannot remember the other nurses name, but she had a butterfly on her tag, were very pleasant and sweet when someone was not a fan of her Covid test or thermometer reading.
