Everything went very well and the staff was very friendly and made me feel at ease
I have usually had a good day when I come to this little ER, however today was a bad day for me and I was very overwhelmed. The staff felt unsafe when I had a meltdown and yelled at me to calm down and told me that I would have to repeat myself again for the doctor. When I asked for a piece of paper and pen to write down my symptoms so I wouldn't have another meltdown, I was told they didn't have any even though the doctor printed off paperwork for me later. Dr Patel is attentive and always orders further testing when needed to accurately diagnose a problem. She takes time to call you personally with important results and answer any questions you may have. I can't say enough about the friendliness and kindness of her staff. I don't feel like just another face passing through where they offer the obligatory politeness. I feel recognized and welcomed. This is rare now a days and I couldn't appreciate it more!!
SGMC in Lanier Co. The emergency room is not where you want to go the nurses an Er doctors are heartless making fun of patients I there on way they treat some people as if we're j6st poor people with mental health as though were nit allowed get hurt an think we just want dope. First of all I'm not a pill head I hate going to see a doctor so if I'm at a hospital or Er it's definitely because I'm sick or I'm hurting an I was an still am in intense pain .
