After reading reviews on several different martial arts schools, I decided to enroll my 6-year-old son at SFS nearly 2 years ago. And I couldn't be happier with the decision. Beginning with the gym itself, it is always spotless and kept in immaculate shape — even during the snowy, wet winters. My son has been going to SFS Martial Arts Academy now for over a year. I have seen such improvement in his skills since starting there, we were at another academy before and weren't happy and decided to try out SFS, we have been very happy with our choice in moving to this school. The teachers are very excellent at explaining things to the kids and taking their time to correct and help them learn new moves. I’ve had an outstanding experience training at this gym. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that the facility is run with professionalism and pride. I would highly recommend SFS to anyone who wants to train BJJ. The coaches are very knowledgeable, patient and kind. It is a very upbeat and positive gym. My kids (ages 4 & 8) have gained a lot of confidence and love attending classes.
We’ve been bringing our son to SFS for about a year now, and the progress he’s made has been incredible. Not just in his jiu-jitsu skills, but in his confidence, discipline, and overall attitude.
