I have deleted my positive review and I’m changing my review to a 1 star which is generous. Over the time that I have lived in NC the quality of care from Seymour has gone downhill. I’m not quite sure what has changed other than they have finally hired more staff, who seem to act like getting people referrals for outside care is coming out of their own paycheck. It’s not the worst and it’s not the best. They seem overworked, and don’t have enough staff for the amount of people coming in. They continue to change my doctor around as I assume they are doing that to everyone. It gets old and annoying to go back into DEERS to change it back. I have one doctor here that I absolutely LOVE. He is the first doctor I’ve had truly listen to me. He also helped me get an autism/ADHD diagnosis outside of the clinic. Some of the staff here are not friendly, and that includes the pharmacy. i would give the mental health clinic 0 starts if i could. MAJOR CHOY is a TERRIBLE excuse for a mental health professional. he refuses to listen to his patients and continues to prescribe medications that aren’t needed to help the active duty member. he should be sued for medical malpractice. as a veteran this is absolutely unacceptable. i’ve never seen such a ridiculous amount of incompetence in a clinic ever. if anyone is wanting to see major choy, i seriously don’t recommend it. calling patient advocate in the morning.
