extremely unimpressed with groups inability to provide meeting location information. felt like i was being given the run around. nothing about how it was handled established any sort of faith or trust that my wellbeing was being of value to them or that they had the apptitude or capacity to provide a therapeutic service that would benefit me. seeking alternatives.

I was attending a few meetings at St Joseph Hospital in St Charles Missouri on Wednesday nights at 730p. There's too much rigorous format in my opinion, especially with that 3 minute timer ticking, reminding you of how much time you've got left to talk. I'd like to smash it with a hammer. Maybe if those who attend spent an hour on their knees praying, rather than putting wear and tear on their vehicles, wasting gas, and spending it in an hour of a same ole same ole meeting every week, they might get better results.

If you are trapped by lust or sex or pornography, this is the place to be to find new life. EDIT: Responding briefly to Rick L's criticism, our meetings do certainly have a format that might feel constraining but that we have found helpful (FYI, there are meetings across the St. Louis area and most don't use a timer). For those who want it, there is plenty of opportunity outside of those meetings to create deep and lasting friendships.
