I took my 15+ year old Janome in for repair and found out is was a bigger issue than I thought. Al offered me a trade-in on that machine and I took home a new Janome. After going over the stitches @ home that night I discovered that the one decorative stitch I wanted wasn't the same as on my previous machine. I took it back the following day and looked at other machines and decided on the one that had the stitch I needed. Took my older Brother embroidery machine in for some repairs, and what a great experience! When I am ready to upgrade, I will be shopping with them first!
If you can afford to wait to buy your first sewing machine go to them first. They will save you from a frustrating mistake from buying something unreliable. I learned that it’s better to spend a few extra buck at first than waiting and waiting for repairs and authorizations. They know their machines and first person I would talk to is the repairman because nobody knows what the insides of these machines are like than they do. Now I’m ready for an upgrade.
On my second embroidery machine purchased here. Great prices and customer service. Also had two regular sewing machines serviced, very reasonable and perfect repairs. Threads are reasonably priced with additional discount if you purchased your machine at Sewing Products. Classes and personal assistance available too.
Alan is very knowledgeable and great. Bought a refurbished Bernina at a great price and it works like a charm. Money well spent
