I had the unpleasant opportunity to speak to Dr Sewell on yesterday. I am a MFT student who was responsible for meeting with a professional in the mental health field to inquire on a few items. He agreed to meet with me (even though he could’ve just ignored my inquiry) and asked that I call him. He didn’t answer a single question that I asked and was very rude. I have heard horror stories about this guy. He literally insulted my friend when they went in for therapy. There are people who refuse to seek care anymore because of this guy. Don't waste your time or money. I found all of this out by word of mouth locally and through close friends when looking around. No thank you! Hopefully this helps you choose a better candidate for help. This guy is not the one. When I first came upon Sewell’s name it was on Thriveworks, as he is on many therapy & other assorted websites advertising his services. I booked an appointment. His office is in a mostly-empty building where you can rent rooms for your business. Most of the other businesses were hair & nail businesses.
