Wonderful Turkish restaurant with absolutely delicious food and beautiful, welcoming decor. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the owner/chef made us feel genuinely welcome. You can tell there is real care and passion behind every dish. A fantastic dining experience—we have been several times and it is now in our frequent rotation!
New to Turish food. So chicken sandwich great, spinach/cheese bread fantastic. Baba ganoush(sp?) - fresh, homemade - not my favorite flavor. They serve this bubble bread with a olive oil sauce that is just out of this world I guess it's the equivalent of Turkish chips and salsa. Overall I'd give this place a very high recommendation as a place to try.
The food is sooo good!
Food was great, but the experience was terrible. We sat there for a long while before our server came to get our order. Then just asked what food we wanted, after we ordered food he asked if we wanted drinks. We never got those drinks, luckily we had gotten water so at least we had something to drink. However, that was gone very early into the meal, and never got a refill or even an offer for refill. Sevim's is most definitely up and running now. This restaurant is an absolute blessing. Hands down the best Turkish food I have found thus far to include my travels along the west coast. It's a wonder when something like this to turns up here in the midwest. The atmosphere is divine. The environment is well and proper, the music serves to enhance, and the staff are highly attentive.
