mr I have been a member of SPRFC for over 30 years. I have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly. The fitness trainers are helpful and knowledgeable. The racquetball facilities are the best in the area. The only negative I see, is the hot tub in the men's area has been out of service for too long.I
not handicap or child friendly Went in today with toddler in stroller to inquire about a new membership. Was greeting by towering monument of stairs that wouldn't accommodate us to enter. So, we circled building, passing the handicap spots in the front (why they are there, I cannot fathom), and found a ramp in the back. Now, the whole reason we went was because they have childcare. SPRFC- Maybe,Maybe Not 1. The evening manager yelled at me for checking in the appointment book to see what time my appointment was. The book was lying out on the counter and no one around to help me. She said it was confidential information. I am married, and wasn't trying to pick up anyone #, I just wanted to know what time my appt was for. 2. treated rudely My husband and I went into the SPRFC to inquire about the facilities and rates and we were treated very poorly by the staff. We live about a mile from the club so it would have been a great place to exercise but we felt that the person who showed us around didn't care whether we joined or not. The place also seemed really dirty and dingy but that might have been because of the renovations. We have had seceral people tell us how great it was but I just didn't see it
