I moved my hunter/jumper training business, Two Bit Training (www.twobitkc.com, www.facebook.com/TwoBitTraining) to Seven Oaks Ranch in 2009 and have loved it there. In addition to my personal pony and a couple of lesson ponies, I have 14 student horses also boarded at Seven Oaks. I have found the management team (Sally, Jeff and Mike) to be very professional. Dont trust the management here. They will tell you one thing and do the opposite. Horse care is lacking and sometimes dangerously so. Afternoon feedings for confined horses are often missed. Horses have gone without water. Fences are not maintained. Pastured horses are never checked on. They dont even know which ones belong to whom. Older pastured horses dropped all kinds of weight in winter because they wouldnt put hay in multiple locations so everyone could eat.
