I know a patient who's family wants to transfer him to a better caring hospital based on their previous experience the patients cognitive abilities have declined significantly since arriving 3 months ago..bullshit red tape policies are preventing this patient to get better care in Victoria hospital..patients doctor says he has no time to discuss better solutions with family

No stars: Worst hospital ever there are people waiting in the waiting room for longer than 24 hrs I came in with hypertensive heart problems and was made wait all day till I left without help because I am to tired to sit in a chair for over 8 hours, by far the Worst hospital in Winnipeg for waiting times. I'd have to say the HSC works faster even when crowded, faster then seven oaks ever will be able to work.

this 1 star is for the urgent care, at night I feel as the service could be better with patients. No one checked on me for 7 hours after waiting when I told them my symptoms at triage, who knows how long I would've been waiting if decided to stay. I was later diagnosed with appendicitis at the grace and access centre when I finally left after 10 plus hours of not being seen at seven oaks. Would recommend somewhere else if you can. The Filipina nurse at the Urgent Care with short hair wearing glasses lack empathy. She speaks to patients with "as a matter of fact" face faking having a soft-speaking voice but her face is mocking. Very dismissive. We are educated patients here just in need of care otherwise we won't even be here. I have tightness on my chest and re-approached her hoping at least she would offer a nebulizer, she measured my oxygen level and said it's within the normal range.
