7 Gables is outstanding!! We have been following Alain for 20+ years and have NEVER had a disappointing meal, ever! Don't know where some people's taste buds are. Thank you Alain for the great food and service.

As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted and seated at a lovely table by a wall of windows. Our drink orders were taken immediately (and came almost as quickly). Soon after drinks, a basket of warm rolls and mango butter arrived. (I know, mango butter sounds a little strange, but trust me, it is beyond delicious.) For an appetizer, we ordered the calamari. yuukkk – Hands down thats got to be the worst dining experience I have ever had.From stale rolls to frozen raviolis to wilted salad. The wait staff was unfriendly,the decor was dark, and depressing,.and the bill was eighty dollars,spend it wisely, Because you wont see us again.Nasty Creme Brulee..

Best Food in Conyers – I had to write this review. I stumbled on some bad reviews. This is one of my favorite places to go in Atlanta. The rolls are home made (not as described in another review) served with fresh home made Mango Butter that is to die for!! All of the food is made fresh to order in the kitchen and not frozen mass produced chain restaurant food. I have memories of being in my grandmothers dining room. The deserts are wonderful. You have to save room for them.

TERRIBLE!! – I REALLY wanted to like this place.. it's close by, and we got a greate deal on it from groupon to give it a shot. The Evening started with being escorted in to a dark, dirty bar and being asked to wait for our table (we had reservations, and the place was half full). We were seated after 10 minutes, and sat there for 30 MINUTES before anyone brought us water / bread / wine. Then when they DID bring it the "Home made fresh bread" was stale old hamburger buns. Fine Food in Comfortable Setting – We have been to Seven Gables many times and different days of the week. Food and service is always exceptional. Setting is relaxed. The owner was very helpful in pairing wine with our main course selections. The restaurant is small and not a chain. Comfortable and inviting. Worth a try.

Overpriced and overimportant – The food isn't always horrible. That's the best thing I can say about 7 Gables. Some dishes are good, some are bad. Sometimes, the same dish can vary wildly in quality and taste from one visit to the next. The prices are extremely high for the lower levels of quality and service. In the past (10 or more years ago), the food quality was consistently good, even if it was still pricey. The facility does have a run-down and dated appearance. Absolutely the best steaks and the freshest fish.Try the roast lamb. – I found this gem of a restaurant to be classic yet up to date with flair of the cuisine and the service.My family and I visited and enjoyed many dinners since 1996.Great Value considering the high grade of the beef and the fish.
