Dr. Kanos is knowledgeable, compassionate, thorough, direct regarding anticipated outcome, and refreshingly humble. Debilitating back pain is what brought me to Dr. Kanos. I am amazed and satisfied with the results of my surgery. My quality of life has improved greatly since my surgery.

His failure to treat my dad and put him in worst conditions than he was before and violent reaction and very aggressive .My dad got into argument with him in his office back in December 2015 . Avoid this doctor asap............
Was extremely rude to my wife and daughter. Made them feel they were wasting her time. Technician was rude too. How is this doctor allowed to treat patients? Doesn’t USC Palmetto know about her behavior? I sure hope her professional opinion on my daughter’s health is accurate. My wife was NOT happy at all with this visit.
I am not pleased with this doctor. He pushed too many meds on myself and my family.
Dr DeGarmo is the best doctor I have ever known. I am 61yo as of 5, 2017. So I have visited a good number of Doctors. This man cares AND listens. The first time a visit called for -I don't remember which- muscle relaxers or pain pills, I told him I do not want any but the weakest and no more than a few days worth. I have never had to tell him again. One of us will have died, when I no longer visit him. His staff has always been friendly and profesional.
