Unbelievable the quality of the antique hardware in this quaint store. Displayed beautifully in gorgeous cases that alone are worth the trip to see! The ladies at the helm are knowledgeable- obviously experts in the field of antique hardware. I found some wonderful antique French knobs for my kitchen cabinets- and they were the perfect solution for my latest venture in remodeling!
Great experience, very knowledgeable – I consider myself an afficianado of all things fine and I met my match upon walking into Settler's Hardward. The staff at this store was very knowledgeable about the antique hardware I was searching for. Not only did they know about that specific hardware, but were able to help me select pieces for other areas of my home. Top notch!
Suprising – Was not sure what to expect when I came into the store, but the little old lady at the check out was a little abrasive to begin with, but quickly warmed up to me and helped me select some great tie backs for my living room Be patient here and you will have a great experience.This is the place to go to for antiques, REAL ANTIQUES. Badass!
Be afraid. Be very afraid. – If you like to patronize businesses that treat your questions with courtesy, that try to help you solve a problem, and that at least express appreciation that you came in, do not go here. I have never been subjected to such shabby treatment at a store. My trip to Settlers Hardware ruined what started out to be an exciting excursion. I hope they go out of business.
