Im pregnant and had a stomach virus that totally dehydrated me to the point of not being able to stand or function. The doctors and nurses helped immediately and were super wonderful. However, as i was walking out the very rude lady who collects payments told me i had to pay 125$ right then and there. When i explained that my husband and i didnt have that right then, she proceeded to roll her eyes and get angry. I now feel as though i cant go back there. Very ugly woman.
Went in with my gallbladder about to rupture and was sent home with a diagnosis of heartburn. had my gallbladder removed in the next few days after going to another hospital that seemed to want to help me more. Definitely do not recommend them. they did no tests at all. I basically just gave them money for nothing.
Great, attentive, professional medical care with folks that make you feel welcome.
Though the ER Dr had a little attitude she was still excellent. The entire staff were awesome, especially Robert Gillespie. He met me at check in and immediately got me to the back. I was seriously scared and he and everyone there did a great job at helping to put me at ease. Also very friendly yet very professional. A lot closer to me than Austin and I will always choose Smithville ER over going to Austin when I have that option (hopefully I won't need it).
I love the people there. They are always kind and take really good care of me. I always ask to go there 1st. Thank you all so much that work there.
From checking in to seeing the nurses and doctor I was treated quickly and given the best care possible. The staff is very professional and caring to your health, concerns and well being. I would highly recommend going there, you will be treated as a priority ...
