I have been seeing Dr. Bendo since he started at this location. I called today to make an appointment for a spot on my skin that I am worried about because I have had basil cells removed by him before. The young lady who answered the phone was explaining that I could only be seen for one thing during an appointment because I mentioned I had not had my yearly check, either. That is fine. Called back in February for an issue and all over mole check, was told it would be DECEMBER before I could get in, as an established patient. Then at my family doctor, I pointed out some moles I was concerned about and I may have cancer. I’m seeing a new dermatologist as this isn’t a wait till December situation. There is absolutely no reason why a skin check should take that long to get into to see the doctor when he literally just does a scanning sweep that takes ten minutes to see if he sees anything. I had a large HS flare up that Bendo recommended I have drained. But if you have a 2nd born, 2 year old boy, you know how hard it is for them not to get into everything. I was about to try to squeeze in another appointment asap with the hopes I get as lucky as I did today that someone canceled. The nurses quickly said no way, let’s get it drained today and expressed how they didn’t want me hurting any longer.
