Ashley Brown led the cleanup effort in our basement. There was a large amount of soot everywhere and not only did the ceiling walls and floor need to be cleaned, there is a ton of decorating glassware, paintings, furniture as well as a workshop with tools and related supplies. WOW! This crew was GREAT! Overall. an excellent job done! Our home suffered extensive flood damage which led to collapsed ceilings on the floor below; everything (everything!) was saturated, all electronics ruined, etc. ServPro removed all the wet sheetrock, the insulation and damaged articles and dried everything out, restoring some order to our home. We had huge rains and flooding in Southern Maine. My elderly parents were panicked when their basement flooded. We called SERVPRO and they were literally here the next morning. It seemed like a miracle! So many families needed help with flooding. The SERVPRO technician carefully inspected for damage, explained the recommended repairs, and provided options. Gotta love a local company with a heart.
The team with Servpro of Portland ,Team Lamey Disaster Recovery Team was very responsive. The production team arrived shortly after the call was made to formulate a plan, this also being at 11:00 PM. The plan was made and the crew was onsite that morning to begin the recovery and mitigation process for a building that had significant water damage.
