Servpro was Amazing! With all this recent rain in Nebraska, my basement was flooded with water. They showed up late one night, sucked up all the water, and put in their fans and a dehumidifier. Will was fantastic and walked me through the step by step process. Great service, great company. I highly recommend.
Horrible company. Their workers came in, put our belongings anywhere they wanted to, stacked breakable items on ledges where they could easily be knocked off. Stacked multiple items on top of each other which led to things being nicked and scratched. They broke and damaged several other items and when confronted with this, and with pictures of how they stacked items and also the resulting damage, they tried to say they didn't do it. SERVPRO of Bear/New Castle was very quick to respond when I had a water damage in my basement. Someone was out on sight within 2 hours from my initial phone call. They were extremely professional and explained everything in detail about what needed to happen and what I could expect before they even started the work. This really put me at ease. Staff at ServPro in Gaylord are knowledgeable and friendly. Because my insurance requests it, they made daily visits to check the progress of our dry-out. It was a hassle trying to tell them daily what time to visit. It would have been better if they would have sent one time daily that we could depend on. Also, they wouldn't have checked if the insurance hadn't insisted for several days. My electric shot up considerably.
Seemed like they tore a lot of things out. I mean, we could have done that. I guess I was expecting some specialized process to "restore" our wet basement. Spent a LOT of money to find out that things had to be replaced. Should have done work myself.
The best decision I ever made! Servpro was a pleasure to deal with during a very trying time, they showed up quickly and kept us very informed every step of the way while cleaning up and drying our flood damaged basement. They worked with our insurance company to make it "like it never even happened".
