I was charged $506 for about two hours of labor on my water heater — with NO parts used. The issue was fixed, but that price is completely unreasonable for labor only. There were no replacement parts, no major install, just basic service work. I feel I was significantly overcharged. Customers should be very careful and ask for exact pricing upfront before agreeing to service. I would not expect to pay this amount for two hours of work with zero materials involved.
Called ServiceOne to do maintenance on AC, when tech arrived I also mentioned that blower motor is probably not working and needs to be replaced and asked to check thermostat as well because I replaced thermostat about 8 months ago with Nest thermostat. My AC was working perfectly with the exception that blower motor keeps the fan inside air handler on.
