I recently experienced a frozen water pipe break in my home's basement apartment. After the plumber replaced the broken pipe, I called several water removal/restoration companies, who didn'tget back to me over 4 days. After a sump pump failure, we discovered over a foot of water (and rising) in our finished basement. ServiceMaster was there within two hours and started removing the water with heavy duty pumps. They arranged for outdoor storage boxes and a roll off trash container and quickly emptied the contents of the basement and removed the damaged drywall, carpet, etc and provided the dehumidifiers and fans to dry out the space.
