Extremely disappointed with this hotel. We discovered bugs in our room and were treated with absolute apathy by the staff; there was no urgency to do something, as they didn’t even intend on checking the room until I forced them to. What made it worse was their email reply telling me, “you didn’t pay for the room yourself,” as if that excuses any of this. We had booked here for a week and half here. Many things had happened that we let go but it got to a point. Today, one of the people in our group woke up to a bed bug in their bed. The front desk was called and they were switched to another room. They were not apologetic or offered any compensation. Obviously disgusted by that, we all booked someplace else. When booking a hotel, you choose for the amenities it has to offer. When calling in for the same night and are not told that a hottub/water slide is closed you feel like you were mislead. I was not told on the phone, or later at check in. They had a sign at the front desk but it was not facing the people checking in, almost as if it was hidden intentionally... the next morning the sign was not there at all. Comfortable, clean, good breakfast, nice hot tub, reasonably priced including staying with a dog. What more could you ask for. Thanks for a nice stay.
