Wow Meridith H. I cant believe you recommend Case Grande over Serrano's. I have eaten at both, and there is NO comparison. Serrano's is far superior in taste, and service. I agree with Matt T. Serrano's has the best Mexican food I have had since I moved here from Texas.
MeridithH must never have had authentic Mexican food before. Casa Grande is simply the worst Mexican food I have ever had. I was raised in SoCal, went to college in San Diego and have spent a lot of time in Mexico. I was also stationed in Yuma AZ for 6 years, on the Mexican border. Serranos is the ONLY authentic Mexican food I have found in WP, Manitou, or CS. Don't get me wrong there is some decent "Mexican Food" CS, and MS, but for WP, Serranos is the ONLY good Mexican.
the food is fabulous and authentic . I have pretty much eaten my way through the menu and back during many visits ... have not encountered a fail yet. service friendly and always cheerful and accommodating . the review below is shocking .. I have to assume it was written by casa grande staff and it won't do them any good . the word is out in woodland park and surrounding area!
the food is awful! dont be fooled by the reviews saying its authentic, and from what i hear they dont have alot of bussiness so i dont know how they have such review, they probabaly make them themselves. I dont recommend it! if i had to recomend a mexican restaurant in woodland park i would say CASA GRANDE
This restaurant is now in the place where Carlos Miguel used to be. Pepe is back HOORAY! There are no canned beans and the food is delicious. Authentic Mexican style food by Pepe.
Best AUTHENTIC mexican in Woodland Park. The service is great the food even better, i have read reviews of others about mexican food in town and shame on you who say they have eaten in califonia and arizona and compare any of the other restaurants in town to carlos miguels. If you want good mexican at a reasonable price try the little yellow house by McDonalds
