We stopped here after church for their brunch! I was craving some juevos rancheros and I know Serranos never misses! We decided to sit at the bar and our server/bartender, Kersteb was 10/10. She quickly greeted me and brought out chips & salsa with a water. I think their salsa is one of the most freshest delicious salsas out of all the restaurants in Austin. Huge space seemed empty even with the amount of people there were. Very flavorful chicken and borracho beans. Loved their salsa starter. Fresh, spicy, delicious. Surprised me since it gave off a very corporate vibe. But honestly was more flavorful than Chuy's.
Idk why I’ve never left a review in the 4 years I’ve been coming here… KK at the bar is probably THE BEST bartender in south Austin. being a bartender myself, she’s the only other person I’d have make me a margarita, they are absolutely delicious. We always have great service from her. A few times the patio has been closed and we showed up with our dog, she still let us sit out there and took care of us anyways. My favorite spot to chill and have lunch when I’m off. 10/10
Stopped here after flying back to Austin. My parents know the waitress that took care of us because they eat here a lot. Glad I was on this stop because I was hungry after traveling. FIRST I got the Avocado Margarita and it's fire! Empanadas for my appetizer and I wanted to try molé for the first time I just never got around to it even when I travel to Mexico. Food was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. A manager checked with us to make sure we were satisfied with the food and the service. Great place to eat! We'll be back!
