Smaller place with a fair wait time. The food and service is worth the wait tho! Plan ahead if you want to go later at night! Best pies in town that I've found yet!
The staff were friendly. The seating was prompt. The food was a bit expensive (1 beer, 2 pizzas, 1 appetizer, $75) yet I don't mind paying for quality food. That's where the rating of a one star comes in. The pizza was not good. Greasy. Heavy. Bland. Was in Leavenworth few days ago. Blewett Brewing Company. About the same price. Ate there each day, excellent. Serious Pie policy is to add 20% tip automatically. Service was good. Will tip for good service so I have no problem with that. It's the pizza. Not good.
Went yesterday around 1:50pm. Had to pay to park ($15). 20 minute wait for a table for 3 (myself and two teenagers). Hostess seats us, then gives the 20% mandatory tip spiel. Ummm, ooookay. A little too invested to just go somewhere else at this point. Then we wait 5+ minutes for our server, Rose, who gave a “less than warm” greeting and took our drink order. Their quality of food and service were over shadowed by their unpopular and disgraceful mandatory 20% "service charge" that even their staff members don't fully buy into. This mandatory gratuity they force down customer's throats doesn't even go toward the servers' (front line person with the most difficult job) pockets. It's evenly distributed among their staff. My 13 year old daughter and I both thought the pizza here was outstanding, she even ate the crust!!
Delicious pies, appetizers and drinks. A+ for the Sangria!
